Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, in collaboration with Common Knowledge: Pittsburgh (the former experimental networking arm of the Pittsburgh Public Schools), has created this online hypertext exhibit of some 600 historical photographs and images, accompanied by text, of Pittsburgh, its bridges and its neighborhoods. Drawn from the unique resources of the Library's Pennsylvania Department, this ongoing exhibit was initially made possible by a grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).
