Who We Are
The center conducts research and provides outreach to residents and communities in rural Illinois on agriculture and non - agriculture projects. Its purpose is to assist in creating value-adding ventures that benefit the economy, quality of life, and diversification of communities.
Site Selection Tool
This is an interactive GIS mapping tool for identifying optimal locations for new business operations in the state of Illinois. Information on infrastructure, resources, culture, and census can be viewed on a map in any combination with most of the layers appearing at a 950,000 scale (about a 3 county area). Additional detail or attributes are available on certain map layers covering such items as contact information.
Corn Co-Products
Participating ethanol plants provide monthly samples measuring nutrient levels of dried distillers grains with soluble (DDGS), corn gluten feed (CGF), and corn gluten meal (CGM).
