Persons, United States,
1994–2004. The percentage of the total number of TB
cases that occurred in foreign-born persons in each state is highlighted
for 1994 and 2004 in these side-by-side maps. The number of states
with at least 50% of cases in the foreign-born increased from seven
in 1994 to 22 in 2004, and the number of states with at least 70%
of cases in the foreign-born increased from one (HI) in 1994 to
six (CA, HI, MA, MN, NE, and NH) in 2004. |
