Welcome!

The Pacific Northwest (PNW) Recreation Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) is a citizen's advisory committee that makes recommendations on creating new or changing existing recreation fees managed by the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Oregon and Washington. The PNW Recreation RAC is authorized under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act, which was signed into law in December, 2004. More information, including the Recreation RAC charter and how to apply to a Recreation RAC in the future, can be found on the National Recreation RAC web page. The Recreation RAC has also developed a set of by-laws (188 KB PDF) to detail operating procedures.
