Cast iron cook off at English Camp

The Cast-iron Cook-off is one of the most popular attractions during the annual Encampment at at English Camp. The event, scheduled August 26-27, 2006, is widely promoted throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Did You Know?
Grandma's Cove once served as the landing for the Hudson's Bay Company's Belle Vue Sheep Farm. Supplies would come from Fort Victoria, about 10 miles west across the Haro Strait. Today the cove is the favorite beach of San Juan islanders.
