Tribal Governments Nez Perce
The
Nez Perce Tribal Government receives funding from CDC’s Division of
Adolescent and School Health to plan and implement coordinated school health
programs in local schools. The Nez Perce Coordinated School Health Program
(CSHP), called the Students for Success Program, is a collaborative effort
between the Nez Perce Education Department, Nimiipuu Health, and four local
school districts to support the development of Coordinated School Health
Programs in four K-12 schools on the Nez Perce reservation. The Students for
Success Program works to improve the health of children through planning and
coordination of programs across and within agencies.
