Dinner Lectures
A series of three buffet dinners with lectures that examine theology and ecology will be held in the CathedralCollege refectory. Join All Hallows Guild as they examine religion and ecology in 3 stimulating dinner lecture programs ranging from the Anacostia restoration to outdoor sanctuaries and the development of green roofs.
Dinner will begin at 6 pm in the CathedralCollege refectory, followed by lectures and panel discussions at 7 pm in the Cathedral College Library at the corner of South & Woodley Roads.
Proceeds benefit the gardens and grounds of Washington National Cathedral. Individual registration $50. including buffet dinner - $25. for lecture only.
October 26th - Saving the Anacostia - The Forgotten River. Douglas Siglin lecturer. Bishop Chane will introduce the program.
November 16th - Outdoor Sanctuaries. Panel: Anne Elsbree, Dede Petri, Sally Boasberg, and Jim Lyons discuss the challenges of developing and maintaining an urban greenspace plus a look at the Olmsted Woods Restoration Project.
February 1 - Green Roofs. Barbara Deutsch & Peter Johnson will introduce us to the green roof phenomenon.
