Many thanks to Ken Foster for inviting me to speak on June 22nd at the Permaculture Design Course at Cabrillo College Horticulture Center. For information on this course, contact ken@terranovalandscaping.com or 831-425-3514.

Many thanks to East Bay Pesticide Alert and Don't Spray California in conjunction with the Social Justice Committee of the Unitarians for inviting me to speak on June 5th at a meeting of people opposed to the spraying for the light brown apple moth. Dr. Daniel Harder, Executive Director of the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum and Adjunct Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and others presented very informative talks on the LBAM spray issue - I learned a lot!
See www.dontspraycalifornia.org/lbam.html for details on the spray campaign.

I would like to thank the United Plant Savers for inviting me to speak at the "Planting the Future" conference on Saturday 14 July 2007 at the Herb Pharm Farm in Williams Oregon.

As organic oyster producers, the Moby Dick is fighting against the attempted forced spraying of herbicide on their oyster nursery beds (against native North American Spartina grass).
I highly recommend their oysters - the most delicious I've ever eaten!
