This investigation is signifant because we are very interested in finding out which soil will germinate the seeds the best. When it comes to farming it would be nice to know if alfalfa will grow in sand or other types of soils. If it will not grow in bad soil like sand then there is no point of every trying to reseed something that you know will not grow. This is investigation is also important because with the world hungry crisis, this will help scientists learn how to control the problem.
