Grace Period

The period of time between the statement date and the payment due date in which no interest is charged if the balance due is paid in full and on time.

Guardian
An individual or a trust institution appointed by a court to care for the property or the person (or both) of a minor or a person who is adjudged incapable of handling his or her own affairs.
