Boarding Students:
Normally, freshmen are assigned rooms in Harriet TubmanHall(Co-Ed), Lydia P. Laws Hall (F) and Samuel Conwell Hall (M). Space in Honors Dormitories (for students with a 3.25/B cumulative grade-point average or higher) may be assigned in Richard Wydner Towers (F) and designated areas in Warren-Franklin Hall (Co-Ed). Students interested in Honors Dormitories should contact the Residence Life Department for application procedures at 302.857.6326. As space dictates, upperclassmen (minimum of thirty semester hours) normally reside in Meta Jenkins Hall (Co-Ed), Wydner Towers(Co-Ed), MedgarEvers Hall (Co-Ed), and Warren-Franklin Hall (Co-Ed). *HOUSING DEPOSITS: A $200.00 housing deposit is required to secure your housing assignment for the academic year. Housing is available on a first-come, first –served basis. The housing deposit is non-refundable if not received after June 30.
SENIOR CITIZENS FEE WAIVER: To obtain a senior citizen’s waiver of tuition, student must be sixty-two (62) years of age or older and must present proof of age to the Office of Student Accounts. The waiver is for tuition only and the student is responsible for any additional fees. ONLY STUDENTS ENROLLED IN UNDERGRADUATE COURSES ARE ELIGIBLE.
LAB FEES: Laboratory fees are assessed for some courses to cover the cost of supplies and special facilities. Labs may vary from $10.00 to $6,235.00. The Airway Science Labs vary from $3,095.00 to $20,000.00 per related course.
Student Center Complex Fee: This fee is assessed for the cost of the New Strength and Conditioning Facility, Wellness Center and the Student Center.
