Energy Policy

For more than a decade, The Keystone Center has worked with a broad array of stakeholders to identify and frame complex energy issues through Boards, Dialogues and other forums. Through these mechanisms, the Energy Program provides unparalleled opportunities for leaders to exchange information, gather unbiased in-depth analysis and build consensus around actions to address the complex controversial issues in the Energy and Environmental sector.

The Keystone Energy Board is a group of roughly 50 individuals who represent different perspectives on energy policy. Its members include people with energy policy expertise from numerous sectors including energy, technology, environment, consumer advocacy, and state and federal government. The purpose of the Board is to foster dialogues that examine the linkages among energy, environmental and economic policies. The Board achieves this mission by meeting three times a year to discuss topics that influence energy policy. The meetings are designed to stimulate broad thinking about issues affecting energy policy and to anticipate the issues that may become a focus of future policy debates.
