The Bulletin provides timely information about pests and crops throughout Illinois. Our objective is to keep you informed about pest problems and crop development issues and to keep you current regarding the most effective, economic, and environmentally sound pest management strategies. The Bulletin is issued weekly throughout the crop-growing season (20 issues from early April to mid-August) and five additional times in the off-season. |

Last Issue in 2008 This is the last issue of the Bulletin until March 2009. The contributors hope to interact with many readers at educational events this winter. Reminder: 2009 University of Illinois Corn and Soybean Classics Six Corn and Soybean Classics will be held the first two weeks of January, in Mt. Vernon, Champaign, Bloomington, Springfield, Moline, and Malta. A New "Illinois Crop Protection Technology Conference" in 2009 Though the format is still being planned, December 1 and 2, 2009, are the dates for a new educational conference to replace the long-time Illinois Crop Protection Technology Conference. Stay tuned for more details. Sulfur for Corn Volunteers are needed throughout Illinois to participate in on-farm research measuring corn response to sulfur applications. |
