The Health Careers Web Portal is a web site built by Health Careers Futures to inform middle and high school students about health careers, improve students' perceptions of health careers and help students prepare for a health career in Southwestern Pennsylvania, where the healthcare industry is one of the largest economic sectors and employs over 165,000 people.

University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is ranked 16th in the nation in research by US News & World Report.
UPMC Mercy Graduate Medical Education
Mercy sponsors residency programs in Anesthesiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Podiatry, and Transitional Year and participates in the jointly-sponsored program in Emergency Medicine.
Western Pennsylvania Hospital Professional Education
West Penn has teaching affiliations with the schools of medicine of Temple University and Drexel University College of Medicine.

Center for Emergency Medicine
The Center's Office of Education provides educational programs to thousands of students each year, including EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physicians, medical students and the lay public.
Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC): Health-Related Career Programs
CCAC offers more than 30 Associate of Science and certificate programs in Health Careers. It also has Fast Track Programs, ones that have great job potential and can be completed in nine months or less.
