25 Fulbright Visiting Scholars in the Washington, D.C. area gathered for a luncheon at CIES to discuss their experiences as Fulbright grantees as many of them prepare for the end of their grants. Scholars were asked to reflect on their time in the United States, share their personal stories and examine how their perceptions have changed since they first arrived. This luncheon serves as a follow-up event to the Visiting Scholar Reception held each fall to welcome the new scholars to the area.

As part of the two-week Fulbright German International Education Administrators Program (GIEA), twenty-four German scholars spent their first week in the Washington, DC area visiting a variety of institutions.
