As New York's land-grant college, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences reaches out locally, nationally, and internationally with extension programs that benefit the public, rural communities, and industry.
The Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) educational system enables people to improve their lives and communities through partnerships that put experience and research knowledge to work. With more than 400 extension educators located in every county in New York State, nearly 250 faculty and staff in the Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Human Ecology, and Veterinary Medicine, and 50,000 volunteers participating in program and organizational leadership, CCE is the public face of Cornell University's land-grant mission.
