Passing Along the Heritage

PATH is a partnership designed to assist quality mentors in helping youth to STEP OUTSIDE and into the hunting fields of Nebraska.

Duck Hunter Survey

Responses to a recent survey of Nebraska duck hunters will be used to help set season dates and duck hunting zones in the future. Review survey results.

Live Firing Opportunities Available

The Enhancement of Live Firing Opportunities program is a new offering. This program allows firearm hunter education graduates within the past 12 months the chance to improve their shotgun shooting and handling skills at gun clubs or shooting ranges statewide before going into the field.

Deer Exchange Program

A pilot program of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will allow for the transfer of deer meat from hunters to people who want to receive it.

Hunt Guide Now Available

The 2008 Nebraska Guide to Hunting and Public Lands, including regulations for small game, upland game and fur harvest, is now available for downloading.
