Comment: Single lane traffic will be escorted through the slide area by pilot car and will continue on a daily basis until normal two-lane traffic is re-established. There will be two daily two-hour road openings 5 a.m., to 7 a.m., and 7:30 p.m., to 9:30 p.m. All Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel fees will be waived for this weekend May 8 -10th. Normal tunnel fees will be reinstated beginning Monday, May 11th. The current shuttle train service, provided in cooperation with the Alaska Railroad, will be continued until further notice. Free passage for the shuttle will also continue through this weekend. Beginning Monday, May 11th, a fee structure will be in place.
