Visa Debit Cards

Using your Visa Debit Card is just like writing a check, only easier! When you use your Visa Debit Card, the funds are taken directly from your Checking Account. The cards are accepted anywhere the Visa logo is displayed. It also doubles as an ATM card. Use your card at any AFCU-owned machine free of charge. Note: When using your Visa Debit Card, choosing the "credit" option at the merchant location will allow you to complete the transaction with your signature. If you choose the "debit" option, you will need your personal identification number (PIN). Choosing the "credit" you will avoid transaction fees.

With an AFCU ATM card, you have access to your money 7-days a week at over 100,000 ATM machines worldwide through the CIRRUS and Alliance One networks. In addition, you can use your AFCU ATM card to make purchases at hundreds of merchants that accept ATM cards for payment. Use your card at any AFCU-owned machine free of charge. If your Visa debit card is lost or stolen call (800) 872-2328 to report it to enter our automated card blocking system. If you do not have the card number, please call (800) 754-4128 to have the card blocked and report missing.

Protecting Your Card

When your card is issued, you will receive a personal identification number (PIN). This PIN is your electronic signature and must be entered to begin a transaction. For your protection, do not allow others to see your PIN, and keep the card and PIN in separate places.

Non-Surcharge ATMs

If you're using your Agriculture FCU ATM or debit card, you'll receive free unlimited ATM cash withdrawals if you use machines on the Alliance One, Allpoint or Encore networks, including all five AFCU owned machines. That's over 52,000 free ATMs nationwide so whether you're traveling on business, on vacation or just at the corner grocery store, there's probably a free ATM close by. You're still able to use our AFCU ATM or debit card for withdrawals outside the three networks listed above; however, you're limited to three free withdrawals per month. After the third free withdrawal, there will be a $2.00 AFCU fee for each non-network ATM withdrawal. Remember, to take advantage of the over 52,000 free ATMs nationwide, look for the Alliance One, Allpoint, or Encore network logos.
