Commercial
Manager
Nickerson-Zwaan is
an international organisation, active in research, processing
and marketing of vegetable seeds. With our head office in Made
in the Netherlands, we also operate facilities in Tuitjenhorn
and Rilland (The Netherlands), Germany, the United Kingdom,
Poland, India, Ukraine and South Africa. Nickerson-Zwaan is a
member of Groupe Limagrain,
one of the world s largest seed companies.
For our operations in Poland we are
looking for a Commercial Manager.
Main Activities and
Responsibilities:
•
Structuring company long-term sales plan and managing annual
sales budget.
• Management of customer relations including sales and
collections.
• Keeping close contact with Mother Company and satellite
units of the group.
• Close contacts with product development persons to follow
introduction of new varieties to the market
• Management of a team of 6-7 sales/PD persons
• Setting up sales methodology, distribution channels and
after-sale agro technical support system.
• Maintaining country distribution network
• Planning and supporting regional sales
• Intensive country travelling
Position preliminary
requirements:
•
Experience of at least 5-10 years in the Agro vegetables
sector in Poland.
• Agronomic skills
• Academic education in commercial management.
• Fluent English
Qualifications & Experience:
1.
Excellent commercial skills in marketing & sales, and
leadership of a small team
2. Able to manage a sales and expenses budget, prepare
business plans, establish and follow up performance
indicators.
3. Marketing and sales oriented.
4. Excellent presentation and easy communication skills
5. Experience in working with, growers, agro business
organizations, agro trade, and processors.
6. Excellent and effective negotiating skills.
7. Able to develop a complete marketing strategy and carry
it out in a highly competitive market.
8. Open minded, creative, flexible and reliable.
