Position summary
Responsible for supporting the overall efforts of the seed
lab staff to audit quality during all phases of seed
production, conditioning and carryover.
General responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining a
high level of customer service and professionalism

Responsible for projecting a
positive image of AgReliant Genetics
-
Assist with the day to day
testing done at the AgReliant seed laboratory
-
Prepare any sheller samples
for various seed tests
-
Assist in conducting herbicide
and other biotech tests
-
Help monitor the field
inspection program
-
Be willing to learn new
responsiblities associated with data entry and analysis
-
Supervision and development of
seasonal staff as needed
-
Other duties as needed
Educational background / Skills
required
-
Bachelor of Science in
agriculture or related field desired
-
RST Certification desired
-
Demonstrated knowledge of
botany, herbicide, biochemistry and agricultural sciences
-
Knowledge of germination/vigor
testing in multiple crops
-
Hold a Demonstration and
Research Herbicide Application License
-
Excellent communication
skills, team player
-
Good computer skills - Excel
and Word
-
Knowledge of seed industry
preferred
