Striped Bladderwort (Fibrous Bladderwort)
Utricularia striata (Utricularia fibrosa)

Striped bladderwort is believed to be extinct in Connecticut. These plants were photographed in New Jersey.

• Family: Bladderwort (Lentibulariaceae)
• Habitat: muddy ground or shallow water at pond edges
• Height: 4-15 inches
• Flower size: 1/2 inch long
• Flower color: yellow
• Flowering time: July to October
• Origin: native
