Golden Club
Orontium aquaticum

Golden club is rare in Connecticut; it is classified as a "species of special concern" by the state.

• Family: Arum (Araceae)
• Habitat: swamps, pond edges; in silty, muddy, or peaty soil
• Height: 1-2 feet
• Flower size: tiny flowers clustered on a 1-2 inch spadix
• Flower color: yellow
• Flowering time: April to June
• Origin: native
