Overview:
Get important information now that will help you improve your retirement outlook. In this course, designed for federal employees covered under the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) or under the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), you prepare a retirement readiness index and a financial plan. You also learn how to optimize your TSP, FERS and CSRS annuities; how Social Security benefits are calculated; and how your health and life insurance benefits carry over into retirement.
Who Should Attend?
Federal employees interested in fully understanding the implications of benefits decisions made early in their careers. Those employees planning to retire within 10 years should take a pre-retirement planning course. Spouses are welcome to attend at no charge.
