Ellen Wilson

Ellen Wilson is a freelance writer/photographer based in Michigan.

Ellen has teaching credentials in English and biology from Northern Michigan University and a BS in Wildlife Biology from Michigan State University.

She has taught high school and middle school English and science in the US and UK, and as a teacher and perpetual student she constantly looks for new ways to inform, enlighten, and entertain.

A virtual Renaissance woman, Ellen is equally at home writing about the arts or the sciences. She writes on a variety of topics – education, science, travel, literature, and food and drink, for various print and online publications.

In her free time (is there such a thing!?) she enjoys sipping great wine, creating culinary delights, or reading a good book. Or writing one.
