Rita Marshall

Trained as a journalist, I’ve written for several weekly newspapers in Perth county, including the Stratford Gazette, Your Neighbourhood Weekly and the Mitchell Advocate.

Since relocating to rural southwestern Ontario in 2006, I’ve also managed daily client caseload for a branch of the Victorian Order of Nurses, Canada’s largest charitable home and community care organization.

While still in Toronto, I performed newsroom research for the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest circulation daily newspaper, and provided HR support to the private company behind the Ontario government’s province-wide Telehealth service.

Constantly curious and picky with words, I write articles mainly on health care, personal history and language.
