WANTED! FOREST SERVICE RETIREES
CUSTER, SD: MAY 17, 2005
Did you once work for what some believe is the greatest agency within
the United States Department of Agriculture? If you retired from
the USDA Forest Service, the Black Hills National Forest wants to
invite you to a summer picnic.
The forest plans to commemorate the Forest Service centennial while
honoring former Forest Service employees who live in Black Hills
communities.
“We’re looking for people who used to work on the Black
Hills National Forest or who worked for the Forest Service anywhere
and retired around here,” said Brad Exton, deputy forest supervisor.
The celebration date and location are yet to be determined, but
the forest plans to announce picnic details in early June.
Those wishing to attend the event should give their name and address
to Frank Carroll or Marci Eisenbraun: phone them at (605) 673-9200,
send email to fcarroll@fs.fed.us or meisenbraun@fs.fed.us, or send
a fax to (605) 673-9208.
“We appreciate our Forest Service family and look forward
to seeing everyone,” said Carroll, public affairs officer.
