Major Highway Closures due to accidents/incidents:
FAYETTE COUNTY: WV-16 IS CLOSED AT DUNLOUP CREEK BRIDGE. THE DETOUR IS WV-211 AND WV-61.
JACKSON COUNTY: WV-331 IS CLOSED AT COTTAGEVILLE FOR BRIDGE REPAIR. THE DETOUR IS WV-2 TO WV-62.
MERCER COUNTY: WV-71, ROCK ROAD, IS CLOSED AT M.P. 7.62 DUE TO A ROCK SLIDE. THE DETOUR IS CO ROUTE 71/12 OR CO ROUTE 71/02.
MINERAL COUNTY: US-50 IS CLOSED FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT JUST WEST OF WV-972.
THERE ARE A FEW COUNTY ROUTES THAT REMAIN CLOSED. HIGHWAY CREWS ARE STILL WORKING ON THE ROADWAYS DAMAGED BY FLOODING.

Primary road conditions: Roadways throughout the State are
reported clear at this time except for possible highway repairs.
Secondary Road conditions: Several roadways are closed due to
high water in Mingo and Pendleton counties. Elsewhere roadways
throughout the State are reported clear at this time except for
possible highway repairs.
When driving in adverse weather conditions, please slow down,
increase your following distance, and always wear a seatbelt.
