Max:      Ready for Question Number Two?

Kathy:      Ready!

Max:          All right.

Which flag has a green rectangle on the left, a white rectangle in the center, and a red rectangle on the right?

Kathy:        It has three rectangles?

Green on the left, white in the center, and red on the right?

                  Is it the French flag?

Max:      No...it’s not the flag of France... but you’re close!

Kathy:        Oh, wait...It’s the Italian flag, right?

Max:      Yes, it is, Kathy! It’s the flag of Italy.

Kathy:      Okay...I’m ready for the third question.

Max:          All right, last question:      Which flag is blue with a circle of little yellow stars  in the center?

Kathy:        I know this!

The blue flag with the circle of little yellow stars in the center is a new flag.

It’s the flag of the European Union!

Max:      You got it!

                  Good work, Kathy.

                  Two out of three!

Kathy:      Thank you, Max.

That wasn’t easy, but I enjoyed it.

Max:          See you next time.

The high today will be ninety-five degrees Fahrenheit.

                  That’s hot!

Max:          Do you like summer, Kathy?

Kathy:      Mmmm.  Well, I prefer fall, you know, autumn.

Max:          Oh, why is that?

Kathy:        I prefer the cooler weather and the dry air.

And I love the trees when they change color.

Max:      Yes, it’s pretty.

Kathy:      What’s your favorite season, Max?

Max:      Hmmm.  Well, actually, I think I like spring best.

I like the warmer weather, and everything turns fresh and green.

And all the trees and flowers are in bloom.

Larry:      And no one likes winter?

The white snow in winter is beautiful.

Kathy:        Oh, the winter?  When it’s cold and freezing?

Max:      With all that ice and snow?

Max and Kathy:      No thank you!
