About the volunteer program at USS Arizona Memorial
The USS Arizona Memorial is a dynamic and energetic urban park with an annual visitation of nearly 2 million. Volunteers can assist at the information desk, theaters, general maintenance or at the USS Arizona Memorial itself. Our volunteers are as diversified as the local community. 

Current park volunteers include: retired teachers, history buffs, retirees from the local community, retired and active duty military, college students, and even people who are still working full time. A unique feature of our volunteer program is that a portion of it is comprised of actual survivors from the December 7 attack who regularly give of their time recounting their personal stories to visitors- they are truly living history.

Regardless of age or background, these folks share a desire to make a positive contribution to the management of the memorial. Volunteers are a valuable and valued part of our operation and our community.

While we have far more applicants than positions, we are always looking for enthusiastic and energetic people. Volunteers work at varying times, which depend on the nature of work to be performed and the memorial's needs.
