Bob Bowers

I was born in Kansas City, and in addition to living in Missouri, have lived in California, Oregon and Arizona. I have always loved the outdoors and have hiked, backpacked and fished across the United States and Canada.

I also love to travel and have done so extensively, especially to pursue scuba diving, birding and photography. These trips have taken me throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean, Egypt, Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

My working career focused on computer science, system design and training, as well as real estate and property management. Now retired in the southwest mountains near Tucson, I enjoy reading and writing, gardening and tennis and birding-related travel, especially in nearby Mexico.

My writing has consisted mostly of fiction, poetry, travel and humor. Suite 101 now provides me an opportunity to share a lifetime of adventure travel and experiences in many varied fields of interest.
