The seemingly never ending decline of the dollar during 2008 forced many non-European travelers to consider budget options that were previously of lesser interest. 
Henk Bekker spent half his adult life in Tokyo before, during a four-year stint in Germany, he turned his MBA (Edinburgh Business School) and an MSc in Development Finance (University of London) into excess baggage to take up travel writing full time. History, especially of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation, remains a primary interest. Henk Bekker is the author of Germany Adventure Guide, Germany Pocket Adventures, and Munich & Bavaria Adventure Guide (all by Hunter Publishing, 2005-8). |
