At Opera we believe in communication, and a lively exchange of ideas. Opera IRC network

You can chat with other Opera users on Opera's IRC network.

Start chat - If you are not currently using the IRC-enabled Opera browser, you must use an external IRC client to connect to #Opera on irc.opera.com

Opera newsgroups

We have set up a dedicated news server for you. In order to post messages to this server, you may need to change your news server setting to "news.opera.com" as many ISPs do not offer the Opera newsgroups.
