Linear Inverse Model Forecasts of Pan-Pacific SST Anomalies (30S-60N) and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO)

Background:

Please note: If you acquire LIM Pacific SST Anomalies and PDO Forecasts products from NOAA/PSD and CIRES/CDC, we ask that you acknowledge us in your use of the data. This may be done by including a citation of Michael A. Alexander, Ludmila Matrosova, Cecile Penland, James D. Scott, Ping Chang "Forecasting Pacific SSTs: Linear Inverse Model Predictions of the PDO" and text, such as "LIM SST Anomalies Forecast data provided by the CIRES/Climate Diagnostics Center and Physical Science Division/ESRL/NOAA, Boulder, Colorado, from their Web site at http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/", in any documents or publications using these data. We would also appreciate receiving a copy of the relevant publications. This will help NOAA/PSD and CIRES/CDC to justify keeping the LIM SST Anomalies Forecast data freely available online in the future. Thank you!
