Waterways are a vital part of our economy and environment, connecting communities throughout Washington state.
Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries is the largest ferry system in the United States, serving eight counties within Washington and the Province of British Columbia in Canada. Our existing system has 10 routes and 20 terminals that are served by 28 vessels.
- Columbia Princess - Crossing the Columbia River between Inchelium and Gifford in NE Washington operated by the Colville Confederated Tribes. It is free and runs every 15 minutes, 6:30am-10:45pm. 509-722-5473.
