The Sussex Site of Delaware State University offers marketable degrees and professional development opportunities for adult learners in our community. Our Director, administrative staff and prestigious faculty are dedicated to the success of every student.
Bachelor Degree Programs
These programs support the seamless transfer of the associate degree graduate seeking a baccalaureate degree in his or her field. The Sussex Site of Delaware State University has joined with the Delaware Technical and Community College to provide its graduates with the following degrees through Connected Degree Agreements in the following areas:
- Bachelor of Science in Social Work
- Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
- Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education
- Bachelor of Science in General Education
Additional Baccalaureate completion programs are under development or consideration for:
- Primary Education
- Bio-technology
- Agri-business
- Nursing
Advanced Degree Programs
Doctoral and Master of Arts or Master of Science degrees are also available. The courses required for the following degree programs are scheduled at the Sussex Site:
- Doctoral Level
- Doctor of Educational Leadership
- Masters Level
- Master of Arts in Teaching
- Master of Arts in Education: Concentration in Curriculum & Instruction
- Master of Arts in Education: Concentration in Special Education
Graduate studies in Education are offered in accelerated 8 week session formats.
Advanced/Specialist Certification Courses: Courses required for meeting specialist and post-masters advanced certification by the Delaware Department of Education will be offered on a rotating basis and/or based on student needs.
