Glossary

The National Program of Cancer Registries' Modeling Electronic Reporting Project (NPCR–MERP) glossary defines the terms used in the project, and provides references for definitions from existing sources that reflect the intent of NPCR–MERP. It is not a comprehensive list of electronic reporting and business modeling terminology, and should not be considered an official definition for each term. It includes definitions of cancer registry terms, central cancer registry and hospital functions, central cancer registry and hospital data sources, modeling symbols, modeling definitions and diagrams, abbreviations, use cases, and references.
