Professional Experience

Dr. Elide Valencia is a Research Professor at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. He teaches the undergraduate course in Forages (AGRO 4046) and the graduate course in Tropical Forage Management (AGRO 6602). Dr. Valencia also conducts research with grasses and legumes to support the Dairy, Beef and Small Ruminant Industry and manages the Goat Farm of the University of Puerto Rico.
 

Research Interest

Research focus is to identify productive and persistent shrub legumes to support the small ruminant industry the Caribbean basin.
