Sometimes I'm slow to catch on to things. Hairstyles, popular music -- whatever. So, I am just learning about letterboxing, a hobby that, much like geocaching, has been growing in popularity over the past several years. It's like an outdoor treasure hunt, and, I have to tell you -- it's a total blast!

On a recent family visit, my brother turned us on to letterboxing, something his daughter's scout troop recently had done. He was surprised that we weren't already involved, knowing how important it is to our family to spend time outside.
