Biosafety Policy at CAFNR Animal Facilities

Due to concerns of highly contagious animal disease outbreaks in other countries, restrictions and precautions listed below are in effect to protect the interests of those we serve.

1. All visitors are required to check in at a location specified (as posted) upon arrival.
2. Persons who have been in Europe within the past week will not be allowed to stay at the location (visitors, faculty, staff or students).
3. If more than a week has elapsed since returning from Europe, all footware and clothing worn in Europe must have been disinfected or washed before entering the facilities.

This policy will stay in place until conditions have changed.
