Friends of CEFS, a 501(C)3, is a membership organization for those who share CEFS commitment to a sustainable future for agriculture. Friends support the CEFS mission by sharing their time, expertise, and financial resources to support CEFS research, education, and outreach programs throughout North Carolina.

At the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS), we understand that agriculture is important to our families, our neighbors, our environment, and our future. By practicing agricultural activities that are sustainable from farm to fork, we can:

• produce sufficient, healthy food for communities
• protect our environment
• promote a just society
