NAER Community Site Kit

Quick Links

The NAER community site kit is a set of communications tools designed to help public health practitioners respond to potential asbestos exposure problems at those sites.

The tools are designed to:
  • Educate concerned and affected populations about asbestos and the potential health problems from asbestos exposure

  • Build capacity among local health care professionals to provide care and information to community members affected by exposure to asbestos

  • Communicate with the media, government officials, and other stakeholders about NAER and public health issues related to asbestos exposure

The material is organized by target audience:

For questions about the kit contact Charles Green, ATSDR, at 404-498-0297 or e-mail him at clg8@cdc.gov.
