We have partnered with Official Payments, Inc. to process online and phone payments, as follows:

1. Pay either Online or over-the-Phone:
A. Online: Read this page and click on “Continue” below
B. Phone: Read this page then dial 1-800-272-9829; use Jurisdiction Code: 5420
(Remember: We will need 2 - 3 days to post your payment, then you can confirm your taxes are paid at www.co.weber.ut.us/treasurer)

2. Pay with a Credit Card, or use your Checking or Savings Account:
A. Credit Card - You will be charged a fee of 2.5% of the amount of your payment ($1 minimum).
B. Checking or Savings Account - You will be charged a $3 flat fee for any payment up to $10,000, or $15 if the payment is over $10,000.

Please note: No credit card payments will be accepted at the Weber County Treasurer’s office!

3. Taxpayers who use a credit card must pay a 2.5% credit card processing fee.
Weber County has chosen not to raise taxes to pay for credit card processing fees, instead the fee will be paid
by the taxpayer. Credit card company rules then require that we accept credit card payments through the internet or over the phone. This fee of 2.5% of the amount paid, will appear as a separate billing on your credit card statement. About 2.0% of this fee goes to the credit card company and .5% goes to Official Payments, Inc. for processing the payment. There is a minimum fee of $1 for payments up to $40.00.

In 2008, November 30th is a Sunday, so taxes will be due on Monday December 1, 2008.
4. Taxes are Delinquent if paid after December 1, 2008.

These are the payment deadlines:
1. Weber County property taxes must be brought in to our office by 5 p.m. on December 1st, or
2. Paid at a Wells Fargo branch in Utah on or before December 1st (take your bill with you), or
3. Be Postmarked on or before December 1st by the United States Postal Service, or
4. Paid online or by phone with a receipt transaction time before midnight (Mountain Standard Time) on
December 1, 2008 .

5. Don’t wait until the last minute to pay Online.
Computer equipment failure or transmission difficulties due to heavy traffic can occur. If you wait until the
last minute on December 1st to pay, our program may be overwhelmed. Be wise, don’t wait until the last
day to pay. If you have questions, please don’t wait until the last day to call. Please understand that once you
submit your payment information to the web site it will not be possible for the Treasurer's Office or its bank
to stop the transmission of payment information to your bank.

6. Your Online receipt.
Payments are considered to be made at the time the transaction is confirmed by our Web site and a
confirmation number is issued. The confirmation page generated when you submit your payment will show
the date and time the payment was received by Weber County. This will be the official date and time of
payment. Receipts dated after December 1, 2008 are delinquent. You will be responsible for any
delinquent charges if transmission delays occur and your payment is late.
