TVA Training Programs
Like most businesses today, the Tennessee Valley Authority operates in a constantly changing environment. To meet its business goals, the company must adapt to deregulation requirements and competitive challenges as well as stay abreast of regulatory and technological changes.
At TVA, we view employee training as a vital strategic asset that helps us meet and master our business challenges. The company offers a range of programs for individual development, such as education in strategic core competencies, technical and regulatory training, and leadership development for executives, managers, and supervisors.
Our employees will also find opportunities to participate in public service programs such as Partners in Education. And, employee dependents may apply for a full college scholarship. TVA’s Employee Technical Training and Organizational Effectiveness (ETT&OE) group oversees both programs.
