Excellence in Government

Excellence in GovernmentJoin us for the 2009 Excellence in Government Conference Series, as we explore "Advancing in the New Federal Landscape" in a series of three one-day conferences. With a new Administration taking office, the federal landscape is infused with change, challenge and cost constraints.

Today's leaders must be able to maneuver strategically, think boldly and balance risks at every turn. On April 20, the first conference, "The New Landscape: Mega Trends," will explore the major trends in play from the economic crisis to a new sense of public service and citizen engagement. On July 20, the second conference, "New Leadership: People, Policy, Programs," will take a critical look at the new priorities established by the new Administration - learn how to adapt and move your agency forward strategically for optimum mission success. On October 5, the conference will address "Driving Federal Performance" - hear expert analysis of the new Administration's ideas for the continuing the drive of recent years to improve agency management and enhance transparency of federal programs, and gain insight on what they mean for you and your agency. All of the 2009 EIG events will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building in the heart of the nation's capital.
