"Our organization is grateful for your understanding of the valuable contribution that gardening provides in giving children life long skills and knowledge... By incorporating a variety of knowledge and skills through our core curriculum and our elective classes, such as gardening, we can successfully prepare our 5th through 8th grade students for life long learning."

Lisa Paton, Peace Corps Volunteer in Bolivia
We recieved an inspiring letter from Lisa in Cotagaita in Potosi, Bolivia on April 6th, 2003. She wrote us a handwritten letter in hopes of receiving seeds for her "ladies" so that they could show black corn, purple basil and red lettuce to their neighbors. We sent seeds and hope to hear more from Lisa in the future.
Please read her Letter from Bolivia and look at the photos.
