Application deadlines are January 31, April 30, July 31 and October 31 of each year.

The council strongly urges applicants to contact their local Certified Regional Development Corporation, Bio-Product Innovation Center (if appropriate), and Regional Development Officer for technical and financial assistance, including assistance with applications and business plans. The council also strongly encourages applicants to prepare business plans and financial statements prior to presenting a GTA proposal, and encourages all applicants to include current and projected cash flow statements with applications.

Organizations other than sole proprietorships must be registered with the Montana Secretary of State prior to submittal of the application. Any application from an organization that is not registered with the Montana Secretary of State will not be accepted.
