Update meetings for ag chemical and fertilizer dealers will be held at 11 locations in Iowa during November and December. These meetings review crop production problems experienced during the 2003 growing season and help prepare for management decisions for the 2004 season. Iowa State University Extension specialists discuss disease, insect, and weed management techniques, including results of research studies and field trials.

Each of the 11 meetings is approved for continuing instruction credits for Commercial Pesticide Applicator recertification for calendar year 2003. This includes credits in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10. Certified crop adviser (CCA) continuing education units (CEUs) are also available and vary by location.

The registration fee is $40 for each location until 5 days before the meeting date. Late registration or registration at the door is $60. There is an additional $10 fee for those seeking applicator recertification.
