What is AWAKE?
All Wild About Kentucky's Environment (AWAKE) is a web site for all Kentuckians!! It is a site with many different kinds of information for all audiences: students, teachers, hunters, anglers, and all of us who love and want to know more about Kentucky's environment.
It is a place where you can
- find out about the fish, birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, plants, aquatic insects, and other invertebrates that live in Kentucky.
- explore the habitats of Kentucky including forests, grasslands, lakes, and rivers.
- listen to experts talk about their research on Kentucky's natural resources.
- ask questions about Kentucky's environment.
- publish pictures or stories about your outdoor experiences.
- find information about outdoor events.
- find books, articles, and publications about the environment.
