KansasView is a consortium of universities and federal, state and local government working cooperatively to advance the use of remote sensing and GIS technologies in the State of Kansas for education and research, and to assist government agencies apply these technologies.

The founding members of KansasView are the Kansas Applied Remote Sensing (KARS) Program, the Data Access and Support Center (DASC), the Kansas Information Technology Office (KITO), the Kansas GIS Policy Board and University of Kansas Libraries.

KansasView is a member of AmericaView, a nationwide consortium for remote sensing education, research, and geospatial applications.
